Ocean freight from the USA to Ghana takes time. Here's what your order is doing each week so nothing feels like a black box.

    Your payment is confirmed and your order enters our sourcing queue.

    Days 1–5

    Order placed with retailer

    We purchase the item from the US retailer or vendor and schedule it into our warehouse.

  3. 3
    Weeks 1–2

    Delivered to DDAB

    The item arrives at our US facility, is inspected, photographed and prepared for freight.

  4. 4
    Weeks 2–3

    Shipped to Ghana

    Your item is consolidated into a container and departs for Tema Port.

  5. 5
    Weeks 6–8

    Arrived at Tema Port

    The container lands and we handle customs clearance and duties on your behalf.

  6. 6
    Weeks 7–10

    Arrived at warehouse

    Your item reaches our Ghana warehouse and we schedule final-mile delivery with you.

  7. 7
    Final day

    Out for delivery

    Your item is loaded onto our delivery vehicle and is on the way to your address.

What can shift the timeline

Retailer backorders, container sailing schedules and port congestion are the three things that can push an order toward the later end of the window. If any of them affect your order, we tell you rather than letting the date slip quietly.
